Realm Changer, Mod Installer
D2GC is a Realm changer designed to make it easy to change patches and swap between Realms, it will automatically install the appropriate gateways and seamlessly change patches / realms.
You only need one install of Diablo to be able to acccess a world of Mods

D2GC includes all the files required so you don’t need two installs of Diablo it is simple fast and easy to install. It also automatically installs the required gateways.
D2GC also includes :

Installation & Use
To Install simply download the Zip file , Extract to your desktop and run Setup.exe or run Setup,exe from within the zip
To use make sure you have D2 Closed
Select the patch you wish to play.
Then start in Windowed or Full screen mode.
Adding Plugin Realms
Plugin Realms and Mods are pre made for very fast installation most mods / realms can be installed and uninstalled within seconds.
To Install simply download the Zip file , Extract to your desktop and run plugin from within the zip , restart D2GC and select your new realm.

Manually adding a custom realm or Mod
There are two ways to add a realm , the easiest is to use one of the pre-made plugins. However if no plugin is available then you can add the realm/ mod of your choice by selecting "Add Realm" .
1. Download the patch and files of the realm or mod you want to add
2. Copy the patch_d2.mpq and other need files to the MODS/REALM folder in your D2 folder
3. Run the Add Realm program and fill in the details.
If you are adding a Mod only then you still have to add the Realm information use the Mod name for the Realm name and use 127.0.0.1 for the Realm IP Address.
FAQ
Q. Where have my Characters gone?
A. Your Characters are located in the D2 folder\save\Patch_you_selected folder . Each patch has its own save folder the applicable character will be found in it.
Q. I host this really great realm can you make a plugin

Q. How does Auto Update work
A. When you see the UPDATE message come up there is a new version available simply select menu option Info / Update
Q. What is the Backup Function ?
A. Backup, Restore and Burn to DVD allows you to backup your d2 installation and restore it again without having to do a reinstall of D2 you can also Burn to DVD.
Q. What is Sysinfo ?
A. If you are having problems with your install of D2 or a particular patch, sysinfo is provided so you can post the results in a forum for assistance, sysinfo is found under the Info Menu
Legal Stuff
D2GC Realm changer is not free source, however the program is free to download and use.
Obviously you are not allowed to reverse engineer , decompile crack or hack bits of it, that would be silly ... make your own its not that hard.
